The Cavs:Kevin
Love is back and playing from shoulder injury last season havening him miss the
last year Finials.
Rockets: Donatas
Motiejunas still doing rehab for the back surgery and hope to return to the lineup
which is still uncertain.
Dallas Mavericks:
Backup center JaVale McGee continues to have problems with his left tibia and
the team still doesn't know when he might be cleared to practice.
Chicago Bulls:
Head coach Fred Hoiberg has plenty of frontcourt options, which means some of
the "bigs" need to come off the bench.
Denver Nuggets:
The team has less than a week to set the regular season opening night roster.
Washington Wizards:
Swingman Martell Webster is dealing with a sore right hip and is planning to
seek a second opinion.
Portland Trail
Blazers: According to CSNNW.com, head coach Terry Stotts said projected
starting shooting guard Gerald Henderson is "unlikely" to be be ready
next week when the regular season tips off. Henderson is recovering from
offseason hip surgery. ...
Al Horford: Per Liz Mullen of the Sports Business Journal,
the Atlanta big man has dropped B.J. Armstrong/Jason Glushon of Wasserman Media
Group as his agents and signed with Bill Duffy of BDA Sports.
Golden State Warriors:
The team signed guard/forward Xavier Henry and forward Chris Udofi on Monday,
Per the San Francisco Chronicle, the moves were likely made with the plan for
both players to end up with the Warriors D-League team, the Santa Cruz Warriors
Miami Heat: The
team made two transactions on Monday as they waived guard Corey Hawkins and
signed guard Briante Weber. Per the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, both players
will likely end up playing in the D-League for Miami's affiliate, the Sioux
Falls Skyforce.
